Pegi Ridout enjoys helping congregations and faith-based organizations unlock the potential that can emerge from their history, from conflict, or from a new vision. Through custom-designed workshops, Pegi helps congregations grow, deepen their identity and strengthen their mission. Pegi mediates systemic and interpersonal conflict, offers leadership coaching, and invites exploration of the relationship between our faith story and our being in the world.
Pegi has been an ordained minister for more than 35 years. More than a decade of her service has been as an intentional interim minister, much of it in conflicted congregations. During her ministry, Pegi has led a variety of rural, urban and suburban United Churches throughout Kitchener, Hamilton, and Niagara. Pegi has also served as the executive director of a retreat centre. She is trained and experienced both as a conflict resolution facilitator and as a coach of those preparing for ordained or interim ministry. Pegi is a member of the faculty of the Interim Ministry Network.
Pegi believes that every person is a beloved child of God, gifted and worthy of respect. She listens deeply and compassionately, speaks directly, and leads gently.
